I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together
Yes! I think the portal will actually update first, and then the email comes a little bit later. OUAC also takes a little bit more time to update from what I remember
my email last year was just like a decision was made on your application and it came from uoft, I did went to uoft for my undergrad so I applied internally so I’m not sure if it’s different for ouac!
Is anyone sure that UofT will be sending out offers today, or is it just based off of last year. I think they extended to application deadline this year so IDK if the date will be affected or not

I was thinking this as well ? so strange that they're sending them later this year though when they took away the references from the application. But yeah the one week extension was maybe them moving their deadline to send out offers to one week later! So maybe next Friday LOL
Oh right I totally forgot that we didn't need to submit any references. Hopefully my one EC is good enough LMAO. I guess we shall find out if anyone gets accepted today ?
