I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together
Has anybody gotten an offer from McMaster? Or know when the offers will be released?
There seems to be a big batch of offers that goes out in May based on previous years, but I've also heard some people say that they start sending them in April! If the April offers do exist, they seem rare. Seems like we unfortunately most likely still have quite a wait ahead of us. ?
Does anyone know when UofT, Queen's, and Western send out offers? And how do they usually notify you - OUAC or email?
UofT should be either this Friday or next Friday! Western sent out a few offers already but I'm not sure when the next round is - I feel like they'll send more either this week or next week. No clue about Queen's haha. I would check your status using the account associated with the school (like JOINUofT) because they get updated there first before it shows up on OUAC and usually before you receive an email!
Received an offer from Trent yesterday! Waiting for a few more since moving away and completing the 3 years at Trent compared to 2 years isn't my top choice, ahhh! The waiting game is so intense but it was such a reassurance to get back Casper results today. Good luck everyone!!

I knoww! Last year I think it was April 9th that the first offers went out, which would match up with next Friday ? they have different people on the admissions team this year though so maybe it'll be different! They also updated the website recently and it says offers start going out late March/early April, which sounds like it'll be this week ... but who knows LOL

Yeah! I saw the same regarding last year but also noticed they said late March-early April… so here’s to hoping it’s this week! If not, the week after!

Yes these are my top two as well!! It's so funny because the Michener and Bloomberg buildings are practically right next to each other ? so wherever we end up going we won't be straying far LOL

Same here! Is it true that UofT is based on first-come, first-serve? I heard that they will send out offers until the seats fill up which really makes me nervous...

I read some of the forums from last year, and someone mentioned that they release the first round of acceptances to people who completed degrees/pre reqs prior to applying then they send out acceptances to those who are in the process of completing pre reqs & etc. I don't know how true this is but I hope it helps!
