Dear Human Resources,

I regret to inform you that I will be departing Wonderland University Hospital after 30 years of service. Wonderland has provided me many opportunities to learn and grow as a Registered Nurse throughout my nursing career.

In compliance with Wonderland University Hospital Pension Plan I intend to retire effective June 1, 2046.

While I look forward to enjoying retirement on the sunny beaches of Dominican Republic, I will miss working with the company and all of my colleagues. If I can be of any assistance during this transition please............________#####**

Dr. SoandSo: "Madras, we're converting to open."

Me: "😩 dammit!!"

- Hey.... A girl can daydream!

Sound off below 😂

I have about 3,900 days to work until I'm 65, I just want to slow down the clock.

Approximately 1800 days until Medicare. That's my milestone. At that point, I should be able to retire -- and maybe do some part-time professional stuff "just for fun."

I have too many to think about. I am curious how healthcare is going to change over my career. I have already started my 401k so hopefully I can afford to go PRN or part time somewhere when I "retire".
