I already have my Associated Degree in Nursing and applied for a few numbers of online schools. I applied for Notre dame college their per credit hour $298(free application and they order your transcripts for you) Capella University is $314/ credit hour ( $50 for application fee unless your work waives it, and they order your transcripts for you) Jacksonville University is now $460/credit hour(free application and they order your transcripts) Fort Hayes is $182/credit hour($30 application fee and you order your transcripts),southeast missouri is $341/credit hour($30 application fee and your order your transcripts),university of louisiana lafayette $8500 for just the rn classes and books are $50-$65 each. So far I have gotten accepted into the school and rn to bsn program at jacksonville university. I started the process around end of may and just found today that I was accepted. Fort hayes just accepted me into their school. I want to compare at least 3 schools and see which is the most affordable and the one school the requests the least extra classed to take other than rn classes.

Microbiology doesn't cost anything extra with and if you've already had it, you'd get through it quickly.. I had to take it too - was no big deal.

You're failing to realize that would be cheaper than most of these options due to their flat-rate tuition. In addition, all textbooks are included without any extra fees.

Taking microbiology through WGU would not cost you any extra money since they do not charge per credit. And you can complete the BSN in less than six months, which would mean you'd be spending a little more than $3,500 for your degree. If you took one year to finish, your degree would cost less than $7,000.
