CSULA BSN Program Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey! I wanted to start a forum for CSULA fall 2018. I have been looking everywhere for one! Anyways, just wanted to talk to others about their apps and such. This is kind of a nerve wracking experience, and I wanted to compare points/progress on the application. I tallied my points and I have 25. I hope it gets me in. Fingers crossed. I have also applied to a bunch of other schools, but CSULA is the dream :)

Hi everyone!

I'm applying to CSULA as a transfer student from the Bay Area. I'm not able to total up my points yet because I'm taking the TEAS this Saturday, December 16. I have a 3.9 pre req GPA and a 3.9 cumulative GPA, and also have 104 hours of volunteer experience! Also I've be certified as a Nursing Assistant, but never worked so I don't think I would qualify for the 3 points, but rather 2.

Good luck everyone! :)

Hey guys ! I'm glad i was finally able to find a forum!! I'll also be applying to the nursing program for fall 2018!! Fingers crossed because i know how competitive it can be

The application for fall 2018 is already open correct?

How are you guys figuring out points? Where can I find the document?

What can I use to figure out how many points I have? Thank you.

Yes, the nursing fall 2018 application is currently open.

You guys can find this link helpful for points and application instructions:

Yes! Deadline is soon.

I believe on the CSULA SON page under the tab that says FAQ. I think.

Hi everyone!

I have a question... I was told that we had to mail our official transcript, our letter (volunteer hours), and our TEAS test score to NursigCAS. How does that work? I am not in California at the moment so all of my documents would have to be shipped separately...

It's only your official transcripts and you can do it online

So I ended up adding my points! If I did it correctly, I think I would receive 25 points. Good luck everyone!

Hello again!

Anyone have AP credit? If so, do you know what the process of uploading AP scores is? When I log on to CollegeBoard it doesn't give me the option to download a PDF version of my scores; they are just listed on my profile. It has the option to send the scores to a university, but CSULA already has those. I called NursingCAS and they told me that because it's not one of their requirements I should call the SoN, but their number isn't listed on the website.
