hey everyone - how are y'all doing getting things together to get started? Anyone found any good shoes? That seems to be the one thing I can't find in stores, only online. Thanks!!

Hi!! I have only been looking online. I got some shoes from nursemates.com. I think I got everything besides the textbooks. I'm definitely going to need to find some cheap long sleeve shirts to go under my scrubs because I have tattoos on my wrists. So excited to meet everyone!

I bought nursemates too. I chose the velocity shoe because it seemed to have pretty good reviews. They do seem comfortable but it is hard to tell how they'll feel after several hours. They did seem to be a pretty good option as far as white shoes that are non-penetrable, non-skid and not clogs.

HELP!!! Y'all I screwed up and had the old important dates sheet on my calendar and I missed orientation yesterday. Can someone help fill me in, or email me directly? My email is [email protected] - I am kicking myself for missing it. Please, please, please help!!

Hi everyone! I am applying to CSUCI for the upcoming fall 2019 semester, and I was wondering if you guys have any insight as to wether I am in a competitive position or not?

my points are the following:

Prerequisite GPA: 4.0 - 10 points

GE GPA - 4.0 - 6 points

TEAS - 11 points

proficiency in another language : 4 points

volunteer hours: 2 points

this leaves me at 33 points. What do you guys think?

Hello all,

I am currently a freshman at CI and I am completing my pre-reqs in my first year, which is not the smartest thing to do I am aware. I didn't think it would be too bad but it definitely is kicking my behind. I am currently a CNA working towards 200 hours. I was curious if anyone had any pointers into getting into the program and/or surviving the pre-reqs? I would love to talk to some of you! Congrats to all!

hey @jacobrodriguez2 and @DeniseInteriano maybe we should start our own csuci fall 2019 feed?

hey! I made one. Its titled CSUCI FALL 2019
