I am currently enrolled in an ASN program through Excelsior College. Look at http://www.excelsior.edu for more information. I believe this will be what you are looking for.
Is CNA experience accepted for online nursing degrees? I thought applicants had to have documented clinical experience as a nurse, respiratory therapist or EMT to qualify??
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...but as far as I know there is no online program 'from scratch' for CNA's...or is there now?
Go to the Deaconess site (http://www.deaconess.edu) and take a look at the ASN online program page. They clearly states that you don't have to have an LV/PN. If you have a LV/PN it can work for you as well.
They have their catalog available in pdf and it's worth printing out though a bit long.
My immediate thoughts are.......... when I lived in the big city it took longer to drive to work compared to now when I drive 35 milles one way. It would take me 1 hour to get to school and I only lived 20 minutes away.
I would ruff it and just keep telling yourself that the pay off is coming
