Online Microbiology Classes

Check out your community colleges in your state. I know that in Arizona, Rio Salado and several others have on-line programs. There are actually quite a few around.

St. Petersburg College has online Micro. and Lab. I've heard the lab is fun, you do all kinds of stuff around home. They are a community college primarily offering associates degrees with the idea that you transfer to other colleges. (Although they do offer several 4-year degrees too).

I need to take microbiology and maybe anatomy and physiology, since my classes are too old to be accepted. Do any of you know of a college that offer these classes online, that is accredited? Any help would be so greatly appreciated. :balloons:

Colorado Community College (the system) offers both A & P and Microbiology online. An advantage to their program is that you also get a lab credit, which is required by some state BONs.

You might be able to challenge the school & get your credits accepted- especially if you have been working as a nurse. I know a couple people who have done this and it worked out for them.

Eastern Oregon University also has A&P and Micro online.....with the lab credits included....
