Anyone ever join a medical mission trip?!
I went on a medical mission to Cambodia and am preparing for medical mission to Haiti June 2009. This will be my third trip to Haiti, as I've been there twice for humanitarian missions. I love traveling and particularly mission trips. Awesome, humbling and and an eye opener. They are experiences I will never forget!!

I actually didn't expect to find out so fast. I was checking on the BON (Oregon) website cause my friend took her's a few days ago and her license should be listed...I just happen to be messing around and typed my name in, and there was a RN license issued to me that same day ( I too the NCLEX that morning). I'm still in shock not because the results were up so fast, but that I passed!!! I would have bet money I failed!!! ~Mel

Need Boise Info
Hello, I'm doing clinicals at St. Luke's in Boise 4 days a week all of April and May, and am trying to find cheap housing options. I live in Oregon and don't know anyone in Boise, or even my way around. Does anyone know of some cheap housing for students, or anyone looking for a temp roomie? Any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated. Melanie

Online Microbiology Classes
An advantage to their program is that you also get a lab credit, which is required by some state BONs. Eastern Oregon University also has A&P and Micro online.....with the lab credits included.... Melanie

Definition of Rural
My county is only about 5000 population....I live in Eastern Oregon. When I first moved here I went to look for our hospital and drove by it 4 times because it looks like a one story brick house...Our closest town and "bigger" hospital is 150 miles away.
