Hi-
I just found this site tonight and am in a quandry. I am currently licensed as an LPN and have been working on generals for an ASN degree. Waiting lists are long and I am looking at ways to achieve ASN as fast as possible. I have been talking to a couple of the online 'credit brokers' and am wondering if anyone else has had any experience (good or bad) or thoughts about using this this route ~ or am I better off staying in traditional courses?
Any feedback would be appreciated!

Excelsior College's program is wonderful and do-able, as long as you are successful at self-study -- both in learning the material and staying motivated. Not all states accept EC's ASN, though -- you should check with EC and your state BON before starting, if you decide to go that route. More information is available at https://www.excelsior.edu/Excelsior_College/School_Of_Nursing -- good luck! :)

I'm in Excelsior, as well. Excellent way to learn IF you are self-motivated.

If you are in California the only one they will accept is Indiana State University, I believe, which is a BSN program with clinicals.
