Nope. if you are starting from the beginning you have to attend classes. You need to go to labs and lectures as well as work hundreds of hours in clinical placements. You may be able to complete some prerequisites online but the actual nursing part has to be done in person. Clinicals don't happen every so often. Usually they are one or two days a week for the whole semester.
Sorry guys, but you are wrong:
Practical Nurse - 2014-2015 - NorQuest College | Edmonton, Alberta
Placements are held at set dates, so there is no popping in and out when it's convenient for the student. It was originally set up for students in remote areas of Alberta who couldn't move to Edmonton to attend classes for 13 months straight.
No LPN programs exist that are purely online due to clinical practicum mandates. However, multiple hybrid LPN programs exist that blend online coursework with hands-on clinical practicum. I wrote about this a while back. My piece includes lists with several hybrid LPN programs if you want to click on the link below:

Are there any reputable online LPN schools out there that would require one to go to a campus every so often for clinicals? As a flight attendant , my schedule varies so much, it would be almost impossible to attend regular classes..
Thanks!
