Online/Hybrid options

I used to be pretty up to speed on this prospect, and for my state (MA) my options were Excelsior or nothing.

Does anyone have any idea if new options are being created with the shortage?

I want my RN desperately but I really want the option to do online classes, even with in person clinicals.

I just got accepted to the RN bridge program at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. All the classes are online and you travel to Kansas for clinicals each semester. They let you do them in blocks since most people don’t live in the area. During the last semester you have the option to do your preceptorship in the area that you live in as long as you can find a facility to contract with. The program is 1 year long and each cohort starts in January.

How did you prove the 1,000 employment hours? I work SNF through agency, a few facilities, so I wondered how I would prove this. I have been a Nurse for 11 years

Someone at your Agency would just have to sign a form stating that you’ve completed the hours through them.
