Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has any info or know of online FNP programs that provide clinic placements or at least help with them? I am interested in applying to FNP programs but not finding a preceptor or clinical placement is my greatest concern. I would like to complete at least the class portion online so I can keep working FT or at least PT. Thank you for your help!

My school will attempt to help with placements if you live locally and will provide you with previous lists of preceptors but if you're out of state, there is little you can do. There is some benefit this way since the state university's on campus program kind of fudged hours inn my opinion like one student was placed in an urgent care for her "peds" hours. She admitted that most of the patients were college-age or older whereas we have to have a pediatrician office for our peds rotation.

The program I've applied to has a contract in place at my hospital for ACNP, but the FNP portion, I'd need to find Peds, OB/Gyn on my own. I'm doing dual certification.
