Does anyone know of a reliable free online encyclopedia? Besides wikepdeia.

i'm assuming you're referring to a healthcare oriented encyclopedia. there are several that are very good.

• medline plus http://www.medlineplus.gov/ has one on their site
  
• illustrated health encyclopedia http://adam.about.com/encyclopedia/index.htm
  
• encyclopedia of surgery http://www.surgeryencyclopedia.com/index.html
