Online Anatomy & Physiology?? (accredited!)

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I am wondering if anyone knows of any online Anatomy & Physiology courses that include a lab?? IF SO, what kind of lab? Do you have to do dissections in your home? Did you have to have the tests proctored? I was hoping to find a school in Illinois or Wisconsin, but anywhere is great! Thank you!

Currently, I am enrolled at NMJC. I start classes on the 22nd. I just applied to Darton today because they start classes on August 8th and again on the 15th. I like that I can start sooner and finish before October. I will let you know which one I ultimately choose. Darton is $147/credit and NMJC you will pay no more than $744 for 12 credits which is AMAZING

O wow! i plan on enrolling with Farrow for August 22nd start date!

Please let me know how Darton goes it would be great to start classes sooner then later. ...it's it called Darton State College? I couldn't find Darton CC

Sorry. Yes Darton State College. I will fix that right now.

awe you didn't have to. Thank you for letting me know!

I am about to register for my A&P I,II in the fall at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. Its $333 online and $288 in the college. Does any one know if these classes will transfer to other colleges? I inquired and was told that they should transfer nationwide without problem. The results are good for five years.

Is it an regionally accredited brick and martar school? If so I'm sure it will transfer to other colleges. However, you might want to call specific nursing programs and ask if they accept online science prerequisites. Some are starting to put on their websites that they don't accept online Labs regardless of the institutions accreditation.....now I'm not sure why your credits are only good for 5 years that is strange. What does that mean?

Yes, it is a regional accredited school. I did call six nursing schools and confirmed that the credits will transfer without any problem. The credits are good for five years means....that the credits are valid for five years, after five years have lapsed, you will have to retake the A & P I, II again.

oh okay! !! That's good so you're in the clear! And s some schools will accept credits completed within 10 years! And some won't even have a time limit. I say go for it! Those classes are so affordable, I'll look into that CC myself lol. Hopefully, professors aren't difficult.

Yes!!! 8 credits for $333, that's good deal. Look into it. The professors are nice and helpful too.

awesome! !! The classes are completely online right? I don't live any where near TN lol

Odessa college.

I just enrolled at NTCC for their online anatomy and physiology course. Did you take the course online at that school? Im so nervous!

What school did you go through for your class?

I am also working full time (nights, 3-4 days a week working 12-15 hour shifts) and have a baby daughter (she's my day job!). Thinking that I typically have some time during the nights at work that I could use to study. I definitely need a good grade in these classes and physically going to a school would be very difficult to do right now. I'm mostly worried about the credits transferring once I get into nursing school. :/
