I am wondering if anyone knows of any online Anatomy & Physiology courses that include a lab?? IF SO, what kind of lab? Do you have to do dissections in your home? Did you have to have the tests proctored? I was hoping to find a school in Illinois or Wisconsin, but anywhere is great! Thank you!
To my knowledge, "online classes" don't show up as on campus or online for transcripts. You do want to make sure the school you take the class is accredited. Personally, I would not recommend online for any class that has a lab. Maybe blended (lecture online, lab on campus), but not online. However, every person's circumstances are different, so maybe it would work out for you should you find an accredited college to take it from.
Thank you.
Look at community colleges in your state first, because it will be cheaper. But if you can't find A&P through a school there, look up CCConline. It is through Colorado, where I live, but I have talked to people out of state that have taken classes through them. The sciences classes are accredited, you do the labs at home. They send you everything you need. Including the microscope. I haven't taken classes with them yet, but will be this summer.
Palm Beach State College in Florida has an A&P online course for 4 credits...3 for the lecture and 1 lab credit. They has an LPN and BSN program. School AP program accredited by the SACS and accepted nationwide - that is best part of it.
As for the "lab" it is completely all online, for it you need to purchase lab kit. Lecture classes is utilizing online proctoring system - so you don't need to go to local college, it is also completely online. They is extremely easy.
Lab required submission of work (essay) which you complete and discussion forum.

I don't know if this was mentioned but Phoenix Community College does them 100% online, even the final is online. It's also not known as an "online" school.
