Well, I have hardly had anytime to come here and read all these post after a very stressful semester. We started with 93 students 42 passed....next semester we will have 58 because the 16 people are trying again that failed last year...the program only runs year by year. There were 2 A's...Thank goodness that I was one of them I am so hard on myself to keep my 4.0. This next semester noone has gotten an A in the last 10 years.....I don't want to stress myself out over it so I am trying to go in with the attitude of I want to pass, but it's hard! :eek: Anyway I ran into one of my teachers at the mall and she was telling me she will be expecting alot out of me and the other A student next semester.....Yikes!!!! Now it's gonna be even more stress!!! Thanks for letting me vent and get ready for the second half of year one!!!

Traci, congratulations on finishing your first semester with an A...that is, I believe, a good indicator that you will do well throughout. I mean, while it is possible you might not be able to get an A next semester, I don't see you going from an A to failing. You seem to have good study habits and organizational skills, and I don't see that changing.

Good luck to you and RELAX...you are on break, take a couple of breaths!

Ahhhh.... It's the old "Do well and now everyone will expect it of you." Believe me, hon, I know how you feel. I think we're hard enough on ourselves without other people not allowing us some much needed, nevermind DESERVED, slack when the time comes. :rolleyes:

In any event Congrats!!!:balloons: I pulled off A's too this semester and was surprised no one, including myself, got hurt along the way. If you can figure out how to come up with that winning "I just want to pass" attitude --- could you shove a little insight this way, please!!! LOL :D

Thnaks All!!! Glad to see I am not the only one wanting that A. I need to get rid of my prefectionism!!!!!! My oldest who is 9 and is in 4th grade has always been a straight A student this year he got his first B in advanced reading...he cried!! I felt horrible explanning to him that a B was wonderful when he saw how excited I was for my A. Bad Mommy....I should learn from what I tell the kids!!!!!
