Thanks everyone for your support ..i wish my mother on the otherhand would be as supportive .......shes more like "why dont you go to school for another 2 years and become a doctor? " .....honestly.....first of all, its NOT another 2 years, try like 8-10 mother=]

second of all its not all about the money.......dr's just solve the case and give an order....a nurse actauly gets to do the treating ... i dont see why she cant be happy for me . she is serisously stuck in the 60's and 70's when nurses were looked at totaly differently than today. i think she thinks a nurse is basicly a custodian ......idk , its just fustrating . i have no idea how to explain this to her . i showed her my letter and she was reading it, and she didnt even smile or say congrats ..nothing , she just stood there, no expression onher face at all:mad:

When my daughter got her acceptance letter for a BSN program as a FRESHMAN, I told her I couldn't be more proud of her and that not even a med school acceptance would make me any prouder than nursing school. Then I bought her a FLIP camera to celebrate :-)
