for anyone who wants to know how & what i studied here it is. this is besides the regular semester schooling and i sat for the kaplan review, which i did not feel helped me except the abc's in choosing your answer. i did use that during my exam friday when i had no clue.

i used the mosby's priority, delegation & assignments book, it was required for us to buy in our last semester which was jan of this year. also, i had 3 nclex practice books they required us to buy too, however, i had read on here that susans plan included the saunders green q&a book, thank god, i had that one, so i used it along with the priority book.

[color=#483d8b]i answered all the q's in the priority book twice and i used the cd out of the back of the green saunders book when i was at home on my lap top over and over, when i was out in a car or somewhere i took my green saunders book with me and practiced.

[color=#483d8b]what helped me with the cd was doing the quick 10 question reviews, it felt like i was answering 10 questions really fast instead of choosing alot and feeling like i would never get done, you can choose 1 content or multi content when doing the 10 questions, i did both.

[color=#483d8b]if anyone has anymore q's pm me or post on here, i will be more than glad to help.

How did the q's on the nclex compare to the q's in the delegation book or the other practice books? I'm going through the prioritization book now along with Saunders. Med's I am just skimming here and there.

i wish i had time to get that green saunders book .. i take boards 7/17 i do have the other priority book... ugh

To me at the time of the test, I felt like the 1st 75 I knew, after that the Priority questions kept getting harder & harder, the examples of patients of who to see first were so severely hurt and close it was difficult to choose, however, my instructor said that is due to me getting more & more right, the test makes them harder and harder, and I may not get them right at that point.

The book really helped me to learn how to answer the questions, make sure you are reading the rationales on the ones you get wrong, so you can see why you chose the wrong answer or just on the ones that confuse you.

Again some of the who to see first or what delegation to give to a New RN, a LPN, or a CNA were obvious then as the number of questions got higher, they got more difficult, I wanted to see them all first. Just try to think of what might happen right at that moment with each one if you don't see them right at that moment. Good Luck, let me know if I can help you any other way.
