..you know, the ones that are supposed to be so great for your feet? They kinda look like clogs, but they have a back? Back when I was waiting tables some of the servers wore them, said nurses wear them a lot, but at the time I didn't want to shell out the $$ to buy shoes for a job that I didn't intend to continue with.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
renerian--A bunch of people I used to wait tables swore by them. I tried some on last night, going back today to buy them. I had to take a day to 'think it over' as $90-$100 for a pair of shoes is a lot for me. I personally think they look cool, and the during the 5 minutes I had them on in the store, they seemed comfortable. But, time will tell!!

You really can't, bewbew? I studied for a semester in Northern Queensland, and I picked up some really cool boots. Don't remember what they were called either...guess I have a problem remembering shoes! But I want to say....Blundies? Something like that. Anyway, I loved Australia.

WOW! Lucky you, Mel, to study up in North Queensland, I've not been up there yet! What uni were you going through there?
'Blunnies', or 'Blundstones' are what you're thinking off, yes, they are great, but my feet no longer like them since having babies....
I spose I'll have to get on the phone, ring the major stores, see if they can get hold of a pair.......if I were to buy them from a U.S site, it would end up being very costly, as the Aussie $ doen't convert well to the U.S. $

Val - thanks, I love my Avatar too. It suits me....although yours does too. I'm sure we all feel that way a great deal of the time on this crazy path we've chosen!
