Shesh. Going to try to "share" without jumping on my high horse, but DANG I don't know why healthcare is ruled by high school mentality individuals. Ooooops, already did it .
Rumors. They are so...........off base and twisted sometimes. Without sharing too much (don't want to mess this one up, at least not within the same sentence this time), I'll give the details.
Some of us were planning on attending an event. It was going to be a little bit of a few co-workers getting together, doing some fun stuff. Well, those plans crashed due to lack of available tickets (not going to use stubhub and overpay so, its a no go) and that was that.
Well, someone else, with connections, got tickets to a different but similar event and, just via making small talk (probably didn't even know about the above) told a few people about their plans.
OMG:eek: The rumors about how they got the tickets and who they will/wont invite are NUTS/CRAZY/JUVENILE. Ok, off the horse again. But, its like being in high school, some of the rumors are just soooo..............IDK, made me say "Where did you come up with that?".
And I don't want to hear "Oh, it happens everywhere. Nursing doesn't have a monopoly on this......................". Ummmm............it may not have a monopoly but it is a Fortune 500 Company and is well on its way to a monopoly. Shesh.

I thought your original title was referring to all the posts I made today.
Were you being bad?
Couldn't have been. I don't remember anything..............bad being said.
Wait:eek:...............hold on girl.......................WERE YOU TALKING ABOUT ME IN ANY OF THEM:mad:
Nah, I'd definitely have remembered that. N/M.

BTW, are you a girl?
Better come clean, cause, well, this is a nursing board and the rumors will FLY if you leave it up to the imagination.
Um, yeah I was talking about you. Didn't you hear? I told Sally who told Jan who told Marsha who told Sue. Oh, maybe it just didn't get back to you. Good thing because it was about those tickets. And yes, I am a girl, last time I checked.

OMG! Did you hear that Kelly...
Good. I would have felt silly saying "Hold on girl" to a guy.
I'm actually VERY bad at taking screen names and guessing gender. If you don't have it posted (the gender), I just assume both options are true................well, not really but.......eh, you know what I'm saying.
I know, that's what I said.

Well, you could have just learned my gender through the grapevine, but since you're not into that.

Every single place I have worked, ALL of them did the same thing. Public library, medical library, med-surg floor, and now office. It's not just nursing.
You know if you write down all the rumors, you would have the best awarding winning daytime soap opera ever. I can see it now:
Nurse Monica: Did you know that Debra got those tickets at the pier on 34th street?
Nurse Joy: *gasp* but that is in the red light district!
Nurse Monica: and do you know who she was with? *suspense music*
Nurse Joy: Who?
Nurse Monica: Monica.
Nurse Joy: But....... you're Monica...
Nurse Monica *turns dramatically to the camera*:.....I know. *DA DA DUM*
LOL I have heard it all from OMG her clothes don't match because she was sleeping with ... to he did her wrong so she stabbed his tires.
