OHSU's ABSN-MSN/DNP 2018 Applicants

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to start a forum for all who applied to OHSU's ABSN-MSN/DNP program for 2018-2019. I thought it could be helpful to stay updated with interviews, admission decisions, or sharing stats in order to improve applications the following year.

I applied for the Psych ABSN-DNP Track!

When did you interview? I interviewed Jan 18 and was told we would know mid to end of Feb. I'm just not sure when I should follow up on this.

I also interviewed on the 18th! Maybe they didn't like my interview as much as yours and they told me early March so I wouldn't pester them in Feb. Yikes!

We could have just gotten a different group of interviewers. I was thinking of following up on Thursday, but that seems like it's a little too much, especially with the snow we had (since that probably delayed things).

I have almost called to check in so many times. This wait is the stuff of madness...

It really is. My coworkers all know about it and ask daily if I've heard. I'd love for someone to call and then post here what they say. I'm just too scared to do it myself.

Hey everyone - I emailed Kimberly Poole on Monday asking when we'd hear back on decisions, and she said one week to ten days from then (she responded Tuesday). Hope this helps!

That is definitely helpful! Thanks for sharing. Did she say if everyone they interviewed would get a reply or if it was just those who got in? Also, did she say if they were emailing or calling applicants to let them know?

@HMorenoT Was this for the CNM program (or FNP)? Congratulations on getting in, I saw it on the other thread!

Well. I suppose I shall assume that if I haven't been called for the ABSN to CNM program by now that I won't be. So, so, horribly disappointed.

I called Sarah on Friday and found out that I'm an alternate. I *think* that all of the first choice people have been contacted by now.
