OHSU DNP CRNA 2021

Published

Has anyone applied to OHSU's CRNA program for Summer 2021? The deadline is 10 days away.

I applied through NursingCAS and I am awaiting my final letter of rec.

How were your interviews? Did they go down that patio rabbit hole?

For those who interviewed already, did they mention when they would be telling people if they got in? I know last interviews are on Friday 1/15.

Specializes in MICU.

I was told in my interview that they were going to try and call the applicants accepted on Monday the 18th

I interviewed last week and feel as though I blacked out at some point about midway thru, not realizing they addressed when they’d call us so this is what we were all told, Monday for calls?  Past threads noted a ~5 person or so waitlist but with the cohort being close to 14, anyone hear of waitlisted applicants getting in? I noticed past threads people mentioning they were waitlisted but nothing after that so my theory is they are not likely to move up if placed as an alternate.  Not sure if anyone knows this either but with 50 or so interviews, and several on here stating they’d be giving their spot up, do they choose alternate applicants for interview or no? 14/50 are some rough odds and I can’t help but feel I don't really stand a chance.  Good luck everyone, at least we only have to wait another week or so!

14/50 is not bad odds! Keep your head up. All CRNA schools are looking for students that are a perfect fit for their particular program. We will never know what that is until we get accepted.  In theory, you could get all the questions wrong but if they like you then you still have a fighting chance.

I also heard that on the 18th we would be getting individual calls.

Had my interview - the faculty was very nice, but it was definitely intense in other ways! I don’t want to jinx myself, so I’ll leave it at that. Good luck everyone!

I think some very lucky people are getting calls today or tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

Good luck to everyone! Anybody hear anything yet?

From previous years, it seems like calls have typically been made in the evening. I just realized that it’s MLK Day, so I’m wondering if calls will actually be made today..

Hmm. Good point on MLK day. Either way I will be waiting on pins and needles. Good luck everyone

Any updates anyone?
