OHSU DNP CRNA 2021

Has anyone applied to OHSU's CRNA program for Summer 2021? The deadline is 10 days away. 

I applied through NursingCAS and I am awaiting my final letter of rec.

Let us know what they say. I hope they give you a better idea on how this process works with them selecting applicants.

OK here is a summary of my conversation with an admissions counselor: 

We are doing the ICU assessment testing all week and possibly next week for NAP. It is still possible to be invited to take the ICU assessment exam. 

Invites to interviews will be sent out via email from December 3rd through December 11th. 
 

NAP interviews will be held January 7, 8, 11, 12, 15, 2021.

Interviews will be about 40-45 minutes long and will be virtual due to the pandemic.

 The NAP program will be inviting around 50 applicants to interview.

I wonder how many people were invited to take the exam.. Not sure how it’ll be but I saw many suggestions to study CCRN type material for previous years exams.

It’s only 20 minutes so I would assume it’s fairly short! I would think it’s multiple choice but if I’ve learned anything from applying to CRNA schools, I’m going to be prepared for anything!

Treat it like any other quiz. Just to keep the integrity of the process, I won’t go into detail. The process is as described by OHSU. My proctor was extremely nice. Make sure you follow directions  of the emails sent. Clear your area so there’s no clutter around you ahead of time. Good luck!

How long did it take to get your quiz scheduled after receiving the initial email?

I would contact the individual emailing you over at OHSU if you haven’t yet been scheduled.

Sorry, I’m not the one who you were addressing, but was there a round of interview invites that already went out?

After I took the exam, my proctor stated that interview invites will be sent in December like in ExceptionRN’s post. Or are you talking about some other kind of invitation?

I believe that there were 2 rounds of invites for the exams.  My preceptor said that interview invites will be sent out starting next week.
