OHSU BSN Fall 2017

Hi all I just thought I would start this, since there doesn't appear to be anything started for the Fall 2017 3 year BSN at OHSU. Feel free to update as you get emails regarding interviews, acceptances, etc. This week it looks like everyone should be hopefully getting a email hearing something if they are chosen for a interview. I wonder if due to the lack of any posts for the Fall 2017 that means that competition isn't as fierce as in prior cycles... this is probably not the case. But it seems like the cohort has been alot more quite then in the past.

Can anyone give any information on pre interview points for any of the schools they applied to? Or your stats prior to applying.. GPA, work history etc.

Just reaching out to this old thread to try and help relieve some anxieties!!!

I'm wondering if anyone feels comfortable disclosing their preinterview points and if they got onto a program, if so which one?

I applied to MHCC, PCC, CCC, CGCC and OHSU.

Hi!!!

I'm a first year student at OHSU's program in Monmouth. I'm not sure how many pre-interview points I had, but I had a 4.0, all my pre reqs finished and a year and a half of volunteer work with Salem Hospital and in Hospice. I also got into Chemeketa and I believe I had full points except for the alternate point option thing. I can honestly say that I LOVE this program! The curriculum is very organized and the professors are beyond amazing! Good luck on your applications! That's very impressive you applied to so many programs... keep up that spirit, and your bound to get into a program!

Yes, vividly!! So I was watching and waiting on all nurses and found out that in March, all the invites got sent out already!!! Needless to say, I was devastated, because I never got one. Then in early April, I got a phone call from the campus coordinator that I was invited for an interview and since I had not responded to her email ( which I never received) she wanted to call me to see if I was still interested. I was beyond happy that day!!! My interview date was somewhere around April 21

Question.. I submitted by application through NursingCAS and I received the email that everything had been verified but I never received an email that OHSU received my application like I did for PCC. Do they not send one of those out? Thanks!!!
