Hi, I applied for the FNP track and have not heard back yet. My friend, who applied for the midwifery track, has heard back and is going to do an interview next week. So, not sure if every track has their own set timing for interviews.

Hi everyone! I applied to the FNP program. I'm a bit worried that if we aren't granted interviews, we won't hear anything at all - does that seem to be the case? If so, I hope a lot of applicants are lurking here and will speak up if they get a call for an FNP interview! :nailbiting:

I am worried about that as well. It does seem that people are not being notified until about a week before the interviews... which is so nerve racking! Although, I spoke to admissions two weeks ago and she said that the interview notifications should go out in two weeks, and that was two weeks ago, so maybe we will be hearing soon. I do hope applicants let us all know, I have been obsessively checking this forum.. :sorry:

That is awesome to hear! I haven't heard anything from the PMHNP department so I am going to assume that I am out this round. Seattle- do you mind sharing your stats? I am gonna share mine as well because I want to help the other people trying to apply. This was my first year applying and I am a non-traditional student. It took me 7 years to finish my BS in psych due to an untreated/diagnosed learning disability. Due to this I am unable to bring my undergrad GPA up to a 3.0. I have retaken many classes, but the way that OHSU calculates GPA is a straight average. I got a 4.0 in all my pre-reqs that I took starting in 2014. I have social service (direct care) and insurance analyst work history. I also applied to a MPH program (which I did get into) at the same time. My GRE scores are from 2011: 156- verbal, 148 Quant, and 4.5 in writing. I am hoping by completing my MPH this I can at the very least get an interview for this program in a couple of years. We shall see! Good luck to you all!

I applied to the Acc-BSN to PMHNP on December 8th and have been maintaining low level anxiety ever since. This week has bee the roughest! I really hope you get back to us Seattle3573!

maybe you should call them back and get a new estimate on the notifications

I just called and got a call back from the Acc-Bacc to PMHNP program! They are still reviewing applications and have added an extra day for interviews. They are going to do the first round of interviews and then make more calls. This is the best news I've gotten all year!
