OHSU ABSN to Masters in Psych 2014

Hey. I thought I would start a thread for those of us who applied to the OHSU Acc Bac to Masters in Psych for the 2014 cohort. How does everyone feel? Personally the addition of the Nursing CAS portion of the application was a little stressful. Especially since they say it takes them weeks to process your application to send to OHSU. Yikes!

Specializes in public health, corrections.

I graduated PMHNP in 2006. I loved that program. Love Pill Hill. Love the energy of that school. It was a great time in my life. The price tag is fair because it is a public school (yes, I realize it is still a lot of money because college tuition has shot up in the last decade everywhere).

Can you share more about how your experience at OHSU was? How intense was the program? How were the classes? Did you have time for yourself or were you constantly studying?

@portlandnp can you share more about your experience at OHSU and the PMHNP track in general? How intense was the program and was it manageable (i.e., did you find time for yourself, did other students fare well, is it a collaborative environment, how rigorous are the classes and the workload?)
