OHSU ABSN to FNP 2016

I applied to the OHSU ABSN to FNP (MN). On the website it states that interviews for the Portland campus will be Jan 28, 2016. That's so soon!

When do you think we'll hear about potential interviews? Why is there only one day for the ABSN to FNP program while the other programs have multiple interview days?

Hmm I haven't heard anything. Both invites came via Email?

Hopefully by the end of the week. Yes, also curious how many people are being invited and what type of academic record they have.

I haven't heard anything aside from the very general email saying that I got an interview on January 28th. They said they will be sending more details about exact times soon. I'd be happy to share my academic record if you want to PM me.

Finally found this thread! (thanks kaykay210 for directing me). I haven't heard anything yet either, and I've gotten tons of conflicting information from the office. The two times that I called (once on Tuesday 1/12 and once yesterday 1/13) I was told that interview emails hadn't gone out yet, which is interesting because it appears they have! The lady I spoke with said that they weren't sending rejection emails, but when I emailed in they said that they would email everyone who applied. Not sure if I should give up hope and just focus on my upcoming interviews elsewhere, or if I need to keep the Alaska Air website open in case I need to book a flight at the last moment.

Hmmmm, I'm not sure what to say. From my experience the folks that answer the phone don't always have the best information and that can lead to frustration.

If it is at all helpful, here is the text of the email I received on Tuesday:

We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected to interview for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science to Masters in Family Nursing Practice cohort at the School of Nursing at Oregon Health and Science University. We will be interviewing candidates on campus in Portland on Thursday January 28th, 2016. Please save the date. You will be receiving further communication with your assigned interview time and directions to the campus.

I got emailed last week about an interview, but I am flying out to interview elsewhere that day already and so I can't do a skype or in-person interview. I am hoping they let me interview a different day!

I just received an email confirming my interview time of 10:30. It also said there was a luncheon and a campus tour. I'm guessing that the interviews will be done in a group format. How else can they get through them all in one day?

I have my interview in Ashland tomorrow. They are only taking 6 this year.
