OHSU ABSN to FNP 2016

I applied to the OHSU ABSN to FNP (MN). On the website it states that interviews for the Portland campus will be Jan 28, 2016. That's so soon!

When do you think we'll hear about potential interviews? Why is there only one day for the ABSN to FNP program while the other programs have multiple interview days?

I understood they typically interview twice as many as they have openings for, however, I think they keep a waitlist too.

I interviewed today in Portland. 25 interviewees for 6 spots.

I believe it was 30 in person interviews and 6 spots for each the Portland and Ashland campus (6 for each). This includes masters and DNP candidates.

Definitely way fewer than 2x the number of open spots (though that is the case at UCSF). At the luncheon, they said that it was due to the lack of preceptors.

did they say when we would hear about admissions decisions?

They said they are making decisions next week! Not 100% sure when we will hear though. I would assume in the next couple of weeks?

I'm curious as to what sort of questions they are asking at the interviews.
