Hello everyone! I know it's early before our applications need to be submitted, but I wanted to go ahead and create this early on to support and encourage one another/check in during this coming application cycle. I know this year may be a little more difficult because of COVID (since CSU East Bay cancelled their applications) = potentially more competition.
I haven't taken my TEAS yet... but I'm estimating my points applying to Ohlone will be 87 points. Do you think this will be enough to make the cut?

Haha, yea I'll do that. I think it's because the program isn't finalized, therefore the details aren't in there yet. Let's just hope it gets passed. I used to go to SJSU and I would love to finish my BSN there. Hopefully all you guys can go through this journey with me if you are planning on doing that.

Whats this pilot progam at EVC you guys are talking about? LOL Im thinking of applying there in October. Is it new?
It's this program that SJSU and EVC are doing that allows nursing students at EVC to complete their ADN and BSN at the same time. It's not finalized yet, but if it does, it goes into effect in Fall 2021.

That's awesome! I know they do the bridge program with them currently right? So will this make the program 2 1/2 years instead of 3 or would it stay the same?
um, the program for ADN at EVC is 2 years, and RN to BSN at SJSU is usually 3 semester. But with this pilot program, you can do both in only 2.5 years. Hopefully that clears things up. I really hope it passes too.
