Ohlone College FALL/Spring 2021/2022

Hello everyone! I know it's early before our applications need to be submitted, but I wanted to go ahead and create this early on to support and encourage one another/check in during this coming application cycle. I know this year may be a little more difficult because of COVID (since CSU East Bay cancelled their applications) = potentially more competition. 

I haven't taken my TEAS yet... but I'm estimating my points applying to Ohlone will be 87 points. Do you think this will be enough to make the cut?

Hello, 

HNY!  I think 87 is a great score and have a great chance of getting in.  I believe Ohlone takes 44 students for Fall and another 44 for Spring.  Will you be applying to other schools as well?  Good luck on the TEAS!

Yes I applied to Chabot and Evergreen too!

I got the same score as you!

I figured I would post on here since I just made up my mind to apply to Ohlone college. I'm also applying to CCSF and Merritt. Maybe a few others IDK.

Have any of you heard about this program? Good or bad?

 

I'm applying to Merritt but Im hearing terrible things about that program so its probably going to be my last option.

Awesome! Are you still able to apply to Ohlone? I saw you were having some problems transferring over psychology?

Yeah I am! They require a Human Development Psych which is the one I took. Most other programs require Psych 1 Intro. I think I'll still have to take Psych 1 eventually but for Merritt, CCSF, and Ohlone I can do it after I apply and before I graduate.

Hi unfortunately you need to have attended an info session in order to have the application available to you...check the website if there are anymore via zoom. If not, then unfortunately the application can’t be made available and considered unless you attended.

HI guys! I know we have to include our official transcripts in our application packet to nursing department, but I was wondering do we also have to send it to the school?

As long as you include it in the packet, your application is good to go. 

Weather or not you should send it to school depends if you plan on taking other Non nursing courses. If your not taking any other courses then you don't have to worry about it
