Ohlone College FALL/Spring 2020/2021

Hey guys,

For accepted students, we only got 5 days to accept/decline the offer. If we wish to drop out of the program later, we have to notify them 7 days before the first day of class. So my best guess is that people on the waitlist can be called in anytime between now and the first day of class?

Oh I see. I assume some who are accepted at Ohlone are also debating between another school as well. So maybe they decline and the list moves up hmmm. In that case I think the waitlisted students should prepare their CPR, vaccinations and stuff ready in case we get called in?

Hmmm, I'm not so sure about getting the CPR and vaccines beforehand, but I have attached the requirements from Complio just in case anyone is interested. (P.S. for most tests, they only accept titer results, and a hepatitis A titer test is also required.)

I just wonder if the waitlisters get in so close to the 1st day of class If they give an extension to complete everything like the physical, CPR etc.

That’s what I’m thinking too. Like I’m on the waitlist for CSM for Fall as well and they require me to do CPR, Background Check, and Shots in case I get in I’ll have all the paperwork done. Hopefully I can use that stuff for Ohlone as well once I receive a response.

Hi everyone! I’m waitlisted #8 for Fall semester...I was hopeful that my chances of getting in were pretty high, but haven’t heard anything. Was wondering if anyone who is waitlisted for Fall has heard anything? Thanks for starting this thread!

I am waitlist #4 for the Fall cohort. I have yet to receive any news, I am hoping to get in as it’s not far down the list. I check my email and lookout for calls everyday. I was thinking about emailing the staff even though they said they’ll contact us haha

If I’m correct, Fall classes start August 31st for Ohlone, which I assume is the same for Nursing. So I think we have until the last week of August to know if we get in from the waitlist for Fall cohort ??

Hey Guys,

I just received the email from Health sciences department today and they took me in from the waitlist ?. I’m so excited but nervous as well to start this Fall.
