Sorry about your experience! I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University's ABSN program at the SLC satellite campus. I took my NCLEX in October and passed in 85 questions! I'd recommend looking into GCU's ABSN program. I can't speak for others.

Hi there! Recent GCU ABSN graduate- The program is 16 months split into 4 semesters. Each semester is 15 weeks. You get about 1-2 week breaks in between each semester. The program is hybrid. You go to campus for exams, clinical labs, exam reviews (optional), practice labs (optional), and simulation labs. Clinical rotations are completed at assigned hospitals/clinical sites. Didactic (in class) is virtual via Zoom. These are optional, but recommended. It is fast-paced, but absolutely doable!

Correct! I’ve applied twice, this is my third time. They will send out an email notification 4/26-4/30. It’ll state whether you’ve made it pass phase 1. Then you send TEAS scores to be entered into lottery. Then notification is usually sent out by mail. It is all detailed in the brochure. It’s a lot of waiting. If you’ve applied in the past, usually you don’t have to resend TEAS/transcripts. Always email nursing admissions. Good luck!

Hi! I’m taking the classes now. They are 7 week fast paced courses (no joke). I don’t mind them. Your counselor has to register you for the courses once you apply to the school. If you plan to start May 2021, I’d advise you get registered as soon as possible with your advisor at GCU.

oh OK got it! Couldn’t remember. No! I’m looking into the Tucson location for May 2021 start. I need to start the pathophysiology and Christian worship classes. I just came here to find anyone else going through the same process!

3.0 for both transfer GPA and prerequisites of Im remembering correctly. I talk to the advisor on Monday.
