Ohlone College FALL/Spring 2020/2021

Hi guys, I haven't seen anyone making a post for the 2020/2021 semester, so here it is!

Hi,

Yes so if you never had the vaccines then you need to start the vaccine series. If you have had the vaccines then you need to just do the titers to verify that you have immunity. If you are found to not have immunity then you need to get booster shots and then redo titers in 6-8 weeks after receiving the booster. Make sure you upload all the documents. You will need titers for all of them except Hep C is a screening not a titer. And yes according to the instructions we have until 1st day of class to complete items as well as start some items such as the vaccine series.

Hi Guys,

Like most of you, I received the email from the director regarding purchasing the books from Elviser and other materials. For Elviser, there were 2 links for the book packages. Do we just purchase from one link or does it have to be both? Both links seem to share the same books just the first one includes some bonus materials and guides for a higher price. Here is a screenshot of the links:

Hi David,

I think both links offer the same study materials. It's just the first link comes with hardcover & digital textbooks whereas the 2nd link offers ebooks only.

Hi everyone,

Wondering how far down the wait list did Ohlone get for the fall semester? 

I'm still waitlisted for Spring, by any chance anyone new decline their Spring cohort spot? Has anyone on the wait list heard any updates? 

 

Thanks everyone and Goodluck to the fall class starting soon maybe even today I believe!

Hey @Ofelia Abuluyan I received this back in June. Hopefully they’ll start working on the Spring cohort soon.

I think they made it only to #4. I’m #8 and didn’t hear anything....

I haven't heard any updates. Last I heard we could hear back via email anytime from September 1st till January 2021. Goodluck to us!
