Hi guys, I haven't seen anyone making a post for the 2020/2021 semester, so here it is!

I applied to Antelope Valley College, Long Beach Community College but have not heard back yet. My 1st choice would be Ohlone due to location.

I see. I think you have a pretty good chance on Ohlone’s waitlist too since I heard many decline their Spring spot cause they probably got into fall for other schools.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that I received an email from --------------------- today basically just notifying me that I am qualified and what my spot is on the Spring waitlist which is #19. They will call and email us once a spot opens up.

Were supposed to hear some news sometime between October-January. Keep us updated if you hear anything please.

Hi Ofelia,

I have not heard back yet from Ohlone, I been checking my email and looking out for phone calls but no news yet. The last time they communicated with me through that email from Health Science Dept., they told me that I was still #52 or 4th place on the Fall 2020 waitlist. I still have my fingers crossed.

Does ohlone not have a deadline for the Accepted students to say if they want to attend or not?

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure you'll get an email but the waiting makes it difficult. I would think they have a deadline to accept it deny but I'm not sure. Maybe someone that got accepted can let us know. If theres a deadline and when it is. That would allow you to kinda know when to expect something.

Yeah, I know for other schools they give the Accepted students around 2-3 weeks to send in their acceptance/decline letter so the school can move on with their list. One of the nursing professors at Ohlone I spoke to before the Covid started, told me that last year they had a more applicants and they managed to go through 3/4 or more of the waitlist.

Have you received any news or updates on your waitlist spot?
