Ohlone College ADN fall 2010

I have a nursing evaluation appointment with Ohlone coming up & was wondering if anyone know what it's about. I imagine grades will be verified since we're required to bring two transcripts from each school attended. Will there be an interview involved? If so, what kind of questions will they ask?

It's not an interview. They just go through the application step by step and calculate your GPA and make sure you have the prerequisites done. It's no big deal :)

Their prerequisites expire a lot earlier than most colleges, hence why I didn't apply to Ohlone. I wasn't about to repeat Human Anatomy again for the 3rd time due to expiration date. Stupid if you ask me.

Congratulations on choosing Ohlone, I read it's an excellent college with excellen pass rates.

It's good to know there's no interview involved. I applied to Ohlone & Chabot as backup plans & am not expecting to be chosen through their lottery. I did hear both schools are excellent & I would be happy to attend either ADN programs. So what other schools are everyone waiting to hear from?

I applied to CSUEB, Ohlone, and Chabot. Ohlone/Chabot are my backups, but I'm also not expecting to make the lottery. I don't like the wait!

My evaluation was completed couple days ago. It was pretty much casual conversations with the coordinator / counselor while he / she calculates your chancellor cut score. Only 20 are accepted @ Ohlone for fall so I'm pretty sure I won't be selected. The campus is really nice and I think I would choose Ohlone over Chabot if selected by both schools.

I'm waiting to hear from CSUEB, CSU San Bernardino, and couple other community colleges in SoCal. I think I got into CSU Long Beach because the nursing faculty would like to interview me. CSULB is interesting because they have a 2 year accelerated program available. I'm filling out my SJSU application soon.
