I'm considering the OU Academic Outreach one-line RN-BSN program and would like to get some information from Ohio nurses and nursing students who may be familiar with the school and the program. How is OU perceived by the academic community in Ohio? How about the nursing program specifically - does it have a good reputation? How are OU nursing grads regarded in the workplace?
Any information would be appreciated.

Almost all of the state funded universities are looked at equally within the state. Outside of Ohio really Ohio State is the only one that people know about. Mainly because of athletics. Although the academics are also very strong. Case Western is also a very strong academic university, particularly in the medical fields.

Glad to have two OU nursing classes done and under the belt. Wasn't so bad. Put more time in than I expected. But, now that I am in the swing of things...hopefully I can do it in a more timely fashion. Not a fan of "scholarly posts"
