Hello! I am starting a thread for those of us applying to Ohio State's FNP program (traditional track, not graduate entry) for Fall 2018, with application deadline of Jan. 15, 2018. Has anyone else applied? Part or full time? Online or in classroom? Please feel free to comment!

I applied for the ACNP program for fall 2018. Figured I'd follow, see what the flow goes for everyone else. Know anything concerning the interviews??? Like does everyone get one or only those that seem as potentials?
Thanks!

Hello! I applied for the online Neonatal program for fall of 2018! I received an online interview last week. Hopefully if they are starting interviews already that their decisions will be made sooner this year (:

I applied to the online PMHNP program and completed my interview on Sunday. Does anyone happen to know how many applicants applied and ultimately, how many will be accepted? Has anyone heard when they're likely to post decisions? The waiting is the toughest part!!!
From what I understand, every applicant is granted an interview. I was really excited when I got notice about the interview bc I thought that meant I'd made the short stack. Unfortunately, from what I understand, as of last year all who apply get an interview. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

Hi! I also applied OSU traditional FNP online, part-time, program for Fall 2018. I applied at 2016 and didn't get in because I didn't have BSN (Very disappointed at myself) but I still hope I can get in.
FNP was my goal. If I got denied again, I might try other schools. I prefer OSU because I like their philosophy. :)
Thanks for starting the thread.
The interview was definitely nerve wracking but the questions themselves didn't seem too hard. According to the timeline, they say decisions will come in early April. Hopefully sooner! I also applied to the part time, online FNP program.
Hopefully, we can be classmates.
Good luck to you.

Hi everyone! I applied to the Adult-Gero primary care traditional program. I just wanted to follow this thread to see when everyone's decisions started rolling in, and to see if anyone had any information or statistics of acceptance rates for the AGPCNP program! Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I applied to the online part-time FNP program at OSU Fall 2018. I applied in 2016 and was not granted acceptance. I have (what I think to be) a good GPA and tons of experience. Maybe I was just not what they were looking for. So, I took some time off to re-evaluate my choices and decided this is what I want for my future. I took grad level EBP as a non-degree graduate in hopes of strengthening my application. We will see. Fingers crossed! If I am not accepted this time I will accept defeat and probably attend University of Cincinnati. The next few weeks are going to drive me crazy! Good luck everyone!

I've applied to the full time distance PMHNP program. Has anyone heard back yet? I'm anxiously awaiting and hoping I hear back sooner than later!
Has anyone heard anything yet? I know they originally said early April, but I'm hopeful that they will send out decisions earlier! Does anyone know if there is a definitive date yet?
