I'm endorsing from MA to an OH RN license. Does anyone have any experience with the Ohio Board of Nursing/any idea how long this process usually takes? I was offered a job but can't start until my OH license processes. Any ideas on timeline would be appreciated!

Also, fyi, I emailed them asking what docs were needed for the education verification and they replied: "Form A is for license verification. California normally provides the education verification with the license verification. If all the information is not there when we receive the verification, we will then ask you to have a transcript sent to the Board directly from your school. "
Hi ~ I am moving from Wisconsin to Ohio and have applied for an Ohio Nursing License by endorsement over 4 weeks ago. I was just wondering if anyone else is having issues contacting the Board. I have tried several times to call and leave messages, but cannot seem to get anyone on the phone. I have an APP # assigned to me, but there hasn't been a status update since i have applied. I was able to do everything on-line and had my license verified through Nursys. I would appreciate any advice.
~~ Also, what happens after 180 days? Is there another step to making the license permanent?
My status remained " submitted " for exactly four weeks. It then changed to " In review" . At that point I was granted a temporary permit that is good for six months.
got it. yeah, I turned in my application online June 29th so its almost a month now and status is still submitted. That means when your status change into in review, your license is active right away on the site that day they change it to In review?
the BON granted a temporary permit that is good for six months. It entitles you to practice nursing for six months. You have to keep your other nursing license active until you are granted your permanent license You get an email informing you of the status change. I filed all my paperwork on June 26th. Hopefully you are about to get your permit this week.

What are the required Documentation for Education that I need to send if I am endorsing from a non-nursys state (California)?
