  1. The OH BON granted a permanent license exactly six weeks from submission of all paperwork. The License verification website now shows the Temporary License as closed and the Permanent License as Active. I guess the rule of thumb here is patience! I did note that the places I did interview at were a little leery of a temporary license. I got a what if the BON doesn't give you a permanent license. Then what?
  2. the BON granted a temporary permit that is good for six months. It entitles you to practice nursing for six months. You have to keep your other nursing license active until you are granted your permanent license You get an email informing you of the status change. I filed all my paperwork on June 26th. Hopefully you are about to get your permit this week.
  3. My status remained " submitted " for exactly four weeks. It then changed to " In review" . At that point I was granted a temporary permit that is good for six months.
  4. i just went through the process. It took 4 weeks for the BON to grant me a temporary license. Contacting the BON does NOT speed up the process.
  5. It took four weeks to the day for me to receive a temporary permit. The office is swamped with new grads and is processing as fast as they can
