Hi, I would appreciate any help if someone experience with Ohio board of nursing. I passed my NCLEX 8 days ago and passed it. I scheduled my NCLEX after 9 weeks of waiting for my ATT to show up and I took the NCLEX few days after that because my future employer asked me to pass it by July 14 in order to start orientation and I need to pass the board before that date. Well I passed now and still on the bon website pending and actually it states on their website it take maximum up to 3 business days to activate my license after passing the NCLEX. I'm so sick of this board, they don't even answer phones or emails or anything, how should I get my license information from this board if there's no way to contact them?

try to call them. Waiting for the ATT was the most stressful time especially if you were expecting it to come within a few weeks and took them instead of that months of waiting !!!! I feel your pain I've been through that since graduation but you never know just keep checking your email !!

I think they updated their system.

My friend is active now.

I am still waiting on my ATT number. Fingers crossed!!!

Hi, I just want to update you that I took my NCLEX in Ohio on 7/6. I have had to pay for quick results while I watched classmates in early June pass their exam get licensed the next day. Perhaps I shouldn't have waited to study more since it might not be another week before it gets processed with Ohio BON to show "Active" status from in review.

Last time I'll post in this thread, but I wanted to post that my license now shows as Active in Ohio 3 full business days later in the afternoon, as their website stated. So there isn't that much of a delay or none at all for those who've passed recently.

However, it still will need updated to Nursys database. Hopefully, that process is the next week as it's a third party that uses the Ohio license database to get the info.

My license is now active 11 days after passing my NCLEX in OHio. In my case as far as I know the OBN were down for switching the system for a whole week and that caused the delay but all my friends who took their test after July 1st it takes them only few days to get the active status after passing !!!

I passed the nclex on july 20 and my status says submitted. Not even pending and I emailed the board Friday to find out what submitted means but haven't heard back.

I took my test July 23rd and still waiting for board to post me as active.... I passed!

Sorry I forgot to update. I finally changed Friday aftetnoon after 9 days.

Excellent! I passed on July 20th so hopefully I go active tomorrow or Thursday. That would be 9 business days.

Are you in Ohio? Just curious to see if it's just Ohio that is taking forever.
