Oct. 23rd Open House @ St. Mary's Bayside

Hello,

Did anyone attend the open house at St. Marys Children Hospital Bayside on October 23rd? Can you please shed some light on the process and if they are even considering Newgrads. There is another open house on Oct. 30th and I want to know if I should attend - plus what to prepare. Thank you!

I didn't go. I tried to look at their website and the "recruitment events" link wasn't working for me. Are there anymore events?

Hi Goveg,

They have another one this Thursday and the last on next week Thursday. I was wondering if they consider newgrads. I am getting tired of attending open houses and being told I have no experience.

I have no idea. If I get home before 5 I'll try to call them and find out how they feel about new grads. I'll let you know what they tell me :)

Alrighty so I called them and got an answer: they accept new grads for inpatient!! Not for home care. I got the info on locations and dates/times if you need that too :). The woman on the phone was very nice and helpful so that's a good sign :)

Did you get any news? What did you think? The recruiter told me she would forward on my resume and they will be doing interviews in early December for orientation January. She said they only have a couple positions and internal applicants will have preference.
