I have 19 points and a 3.34 gpa, the advisor acted like I would most likely get in, but I am definitely not banking on it, and am crossing my fingers that these next two months go by quickly.

My advisor told me the same, but I don't want to jinx myself! She told me to start buying supplies, but I'm holding off for the next few weeks. Hopefully it wont be more than a month before we find out!

So what kind of supplies were you recommended to buy?

Oh, and here is what I found out on the CPR certification...

There is a class at the school - Oct 10th 8:30 - 2:30 and Nov 14 8:30 - 2:30 and then 3 classes in December.

You have to buy a book for the class as well.

Are those CPR classes held at OCCC? Oh, that'd be nice! How are you guys holding up? I know we probably wont here back for a few more weeks, but I'm still checking the mail everyday!

First post but I've been reading this thread for awhile. I'm going nuts waiting for the mail every day. I had heard it would be the middle of Oct. when the letters went out ....which was this week! I guess I'll just have to be patient a little longer.

I heard from a reliable source today that the letters WERE mailed today!!!

I'm holding my breath (which of course is raising my CO2 and making my blood more acidic...ha ha)

Well, received my "your application has been received and meets the minimum requirements" letter today. I was really hoping it was "the" letter, but oh well, hopefully just a couple more weeks.
