Hi all, im creating a thread for those applying to OCCC BADNAP Summer 2021. I created one for last year program and I never applied, went through some hardships but I am ready. ? Please feel free to share, comment and give advice on this thread. Good luck to you all!
I've heard that dropout / transfer of programs is high as well. I catch myself thinking selfishly when I hear this - because I want all those who have any doubt at all about the intensive program to make their decision before accepting it, rather than eliminating a spot someone else might succeed with from the alternate list. But then none of us knows what could hit around the corner. ?

I agree with this. I believe that people know if they are good with time management and the ability to cope under stress long before they sign up for what they know will be an intense program. If they have any doubt at all they may not finish then they should just apply for a traditional program.

It also says that surscan will send us an email telling us where to get tested and when. So I'm not too sure which is more accurate. I went ahead and registered and paid for drug testing and the background check because I like to be on top of things. I'm setting up the myclinicalexchange info now so that I can get all my immunizations uploaded as well. I signed up for the BLS course on the 6th of April as well but for the 10 AM one. Looking forward to meeting you at orientation.
Did you already get your Liability Insurance? I was trying to do that through the portal but couldn’t figure out how.

I did. If you log into the OCCC student portal and click finances you then click make a payment. From there just select Liability Insurance from the drop-down menu and pay the bursar. Another way would be to head to campus and just pay it in person.
