  1. Sending in the results of my titers I had drawn a couple weeks ago, and am in CPR class on the 17th... Think I need the Hep B shots, and a flu shot. Anyone not too far into the alternate list, consider starting all this anyway, if you haven't already. Won't hurt, and might help a lot if you end up with short notice. Excited to meet everyone...
  2. Yay!! They fixed it!! "Congratulations! It is a privilege to inform you that you have been selected for admission to the Baccalaureate to Associate Degree Nursing Accelerated Pathway (BADNAP) program at OCCC." Pays to speak up if you think they have missed something!! ?
  3. Update: Pretty sure there IS a mistake... My response says they have me in tier 2 b/c my American Federal Government isn't completed!! ? Any of you who know all these requirements in your sleep like those of us who are on our second or more round of application will recognize this mistake... That class is NOT a pre-requisite, in fact is to wait and be taken concurrently with the final nursing class in the last semester! I've attached my note the person sent me saying I'm tier 2 b/c I haven't done this class. I of course, responded immediately and asked that a supervisor review her work, and attached pictures from the actual requirements for her reference. If any of the rest of you are questioning your notification level, by all means speak up, because there apparently is a lack of experience in at least the person talking with me....
  4. Yes. I responded to the email and asked them to verify things. Yeah, hoping something just got missed and I can point it out. Everything shows on my records.
  5. Congratulations!! Start with making sure you have immunizations and CPR stuff. That was the advice I got from before, bc the earlier you start, if you need anything done, you have time to get it all in the right order. So happy for you!
  6. So now I am very confused and disappointed. Just got my notification, and even though I should be Tier 1 and have a 3.8 GPA, I am alternate #17!? ?
  7. Yeah, no points system for BADNAP... just ranked by GPA in first tier (all prereq's done) and then second tier... I also applied last Summer/fall, and didn't have my last pre-req, so was #15 on alternate list and didn't get in. It was right on the 6-week mark when I got that notifiction. This time, I am tier 1, and 3.87 GPA, so pretty confident, but trying to figure out the money now...
  8. Congrats, Tahana! Go get 'em! ?
  9. I've heard that dropout / transfer of programs is high as well. I catch myself thinking selfishly when I hear this - because I want all those who have any doubt at all about the intensive program to make their decision before accepting it, rather than eliminating a spot someone else might succeed with from the alternate list. But then none of us knows what could hit around the corner. ?
  10. Thank you, Tahana. With #6, you should be a shoe-in. I'm envious. LOL
  11. Can anyone here tell me precisely when IS orientation? As in: when is the drop-dead date to know I didn't make it in? ?
  12. Hello, everyone. Late to the game... Just found this thread. I also applied for Summer 2021 BADNAP, but am alternate #20, so a little disappointed. Was missing Microbiology, which I'm taking now. Far too old to put this off much longer. Would love to see them dig record-setting deep into the alternate list. :-/
