Hey,
I was just checking to see who all will be attending the OCCC BADNAP program starting this June. If you are, let me know~:)
No problem! I was reading through past threads on the subject and it seems like people started receiving their letters around the 5th of March, hopefully we'll find out in a similar time frame. So 2-3 weeks! Basically everyone who applied last year got accepted, so I'm not sure if the process was expidited because of that, but I'm going to start holding my breath each time I check the mail starting first week of March. Fingers crossed!
And yes, I'll be sure to let you guys know as soon as I get my letter :)
Oh you have no idea! What's even worse is that it will be mailed to my dad's address which is listed as permanent and we kind of don't get along very well right now so I'm hoping he would still tell me. I'm so stressed out. I put a lot on the line to be here and everyday is closer. So nervous...
Soooo I have a bit of news for everyone courtesy of my mom...
Admissions told the nursing department that they accepted everyone that had a 3.0 and above!!!!!
Also, they only accepted 50 people... I guess that they've seen how indicative gpa is in terms of success in the program so they cut it off at 3.0. They said letters will be sent out around spring break, so don't be expecting them super soon. (They will be sent via certified mail)
I feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief, and just keep my fingers crossed that none of my paperwork was messed up! Just need that letter in hand now :-)
(BDot I'll talk more about my mom's experience when I'm not on my phone)

BeeDubs, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You made my day. I feel like I can finally breathe; I really took a leap of faith to be in this program. I have hope for us. That would be awesome if they would let even more people in, our chances would be even higher. Hope to see you in class. Please reply as soon as you receive a notice in the mail. I receive my mail seperately at my Dad's house so ...hopefully he would call me but I'm not sure. Once again, thank you.
