so i took the NCLEX yesterday, and im not too sure about how i did. i dont have a good feeling. whatever i studied wasnt on the test, and there were meds i have never seen before.
anyway... there was a question regarding fire safety. it asked me to put "RACE" in order according to the situation they provided. which was: if there is a fire in an EMPTY ROOM what would you do first?
i said... contain the fire (shut the door), pull the alarm, rescue patients, then extinguish. it seemed logical to me, you wouldnt want the fire to spread. anyway, i dont know!
can someone tell me what the answer was? should i have done RACE?!?!
aaahhh!!!

Rescue - okau, no one
Alarm - pull the alarm
Contain - shut the door
Extinguish
Don't deviate, even when common sense says to shut the door as soon as you see there's no one in the room.
