Moved to the California forum.
If you have SSN and file complete you generally see results on BRN website within 2-10 days post exam if RN if PN then I am not sure if the results are released

If one is a foreign grad and does not possess a SSN#, they will have to wait for the letter to arrive in the mail. No other way to see your results earlier.
Same website where one downloads the application for licensure is the same one where the licenses are posted.

Is it really definite that you can check your NCLEX result on California website if you have an SSS#? I took my exam last May 12,2008 (75 items, a lot of SELECT ALL THAT APPLY). 'Til now i haven't received any letter from California Board. I did also try their website (LICENSE VERIFICATION section)...still got no result of my search. Please, could someone verify if checking on their website will really give me an answer. And how long to they post it after you take the exam and in case if i pass?
Some people's licenses post on the website and some people receive their results in the mail. Be patient. After 2 weeks call them to make sure your file is complete (california issues ATT before transcripts are received and evaluated). It could be up to 4 weeks to get your results. Hope this helps!
Average wait time to get a license issued is ten days from the date of the exam, not the two to three days in which you see some posting about. As a new grad in CA, they will permit you to test before they receive your transcripts from your program so as long as your name was on the roster submitted by the school, then you are able to test. However, they will not issue a license until your file is actually complete and there is no way to verify your results without having a completed file. They will not release your score to you without that. And it can be up to about 4 weeks, we have seen some take that long.
Suggest that if you do not see your name in two weeks after testing that you contact them to make sure that nothing is missing from your file and again, you are only going to see your name on their website if you have a SSN# and it was submitted to them when you applied.
