"It was the most beautiful name I could come up with" she said. I wondered what her peers would call her for short.
Then there was "Meconium" after the doc said "Oh, we have meconium".
Then there was "Female" (Fuh-mah-lay) when the couple saw "female" on the birth certificate and thought it was the designated name of the "witch doctor" for the child.

While doing my clinicals last semester I worked with Dr. Candice Dick. I went to the AMA site to see what her real name is and it is.......Candice Delite Dick (yes she is often called Candy)
What were her parents thinking?

they actually had this on the local radio station the other day, some of my favorites were HARLEY DAVIDSON, JUSTIN TIME, CHRISTMAS SNOE, twin boys: AUSTIN & DALLAS..ANGINA CLAIRE...Precious Angel, and my close friend in high school her name was Christina, BUT her original birth certificate read CHRIST TINA.....apparently her parents had an ammendment to that blaming it on her mom's 8th grade edu and epidural........oh lastly, I have a friend, his middle name is Lawnboy....NO LIE!! have fun, and remember even God has a sense of humor, after all he created the platypus and the armadillo
