Hi All,
I was just notified a few days ago of receiving the opportunity to be interviewed for the next upcoming class of Accelerated Second Degree Nursing students at OU. As I was researching tonight I came upon a few threads from previous interviewees. So I thought the group of us going through this exciting and nerve wrecking process can keep in touch and go through it together. I am interviewing on July 14 and am very nervous . I want to be thoroughly prepared. As I was reading the posts I noticed some people mentioned an essay. I was not informed of any essay that had to be written at the interview. Has the interview process changed and have they stopped requiring candidates to write an essay? In my email notification of my interview all they told me was that the interview would be about 20 minutes long. If anyone has any valuable information and advice I would greatly appreciate it.
Have a great night and enjoy the weekend! The weather has been beautiful! :)
Hey everyone! Congrats to all of you who got in! I should have been applying, but had to drop organic this past spring because of a 2 week business trip:-( I plan to retake organic this fall and apply in the winter. I'm just curious, do you know how many people applied for this cohort, and how many they are accepting. I know last year there were a lot of students competeing for a minimal number of spots.
I am so nervous. I am out of town right now, and my mail will not be coming until tomorrow. I am on SAIL trying to see if there is anything I can do, but it doesn't look like I can check anything. From previous cohort threads, it looks like Saturday was the day all the acceptance letters went out. Rejections come a week or two later.
